Make A Move is an exciting new one-of-a-kind dance program that focusses on empowering students with the skills to create their own unique dance showcase.
For director Meagan Baronas, dance has been her passion and life for over 25 years. She has 10 years experience working as a professional dancer, both interstate and overseas.
She holds a Bachelor of Education (Kindergarten to Yr 7) and has been working most recently as a dance specialist primary school teacher. For Meagan, combining her two loves, teaching children and dancing, has been a lifelong goal.
After dancing and working as a dance teacher at a local Perth dance school for many years, Meagan’s next step was to complete her Diploma of Dance Teaching (Theatrical) with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing. She then moved interstate to Sydney to immerse herself in the professional dance scene, completing a Cert IV in Performing Arts at the prestigious Brent Street Studios. After working alongside artists such as Jason Derulo, Kelly Rowland, Kelley Abbey, Jason Gilkison and Circus Joseph Ashton just to name a few, she then decided to focus on the international dance scene.
Meagan has spent the past four years dancing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic. After returning to Perth and working as a dance specialist teacher, Meagan has combined her international dance experience with her love of teaching children to create the Make A Move Performance Program – the perfect dance program to get your students’ creative juices flowing!
