MAKE A MOVE
PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
The school dance program where the students get to create
Our Program
We pride ourselves on being different from all other dance programs. Intricately linked with the performing arts curriculum, Make A Move is catered to primary schools who strive to offer creative arts opportunities for their students.
Our Team
Being a curriculum-linked program, our team of specialists are all qualified primary school teachers, with many years of dance teaching experience.

Other Services
We aren’t just specialists in the classroom. We also offer a range of other dance-related services, including personalised wedding dance choreography and lessons, performing arts festival pieces, corporate shows and retreats and many more.
Unique. Creative. Different.
Just like your students.
What makes our program stand out from the rest?
Authentic creative experiences
Our student-centred program provides an authentic learning experience where students work creatively in teams to develop mathematical, movement, teamwork and leadership skills, and create parts of their dances.
Run by REAL school teachers
Our creative program is linked to the creative dance curriculum and run by qualified primary school teachers. Make the switch to our creative program today to experience the Make A Move difference.
Flexibility
Being primary school teachers ourselves, we tailor your dance program to suit your school's budget and timetabling needs. The school has the ability to choose how they would like the program to run and have the option of choosing the theme and additional details of the show.
Incredible shows
What makes our shows stand out from the rest? The students are showcasing work that they have created themselves. Having ownership of their work, our students can't wait to share what they have been creating with their school community at the end of term show.
Creativity is intelligence
having fun

What our schools love about us...
The Make A Move sessions were the highlight of our children's week in Term Two. The team at Make A Move are experts at engaging children in dance and making dance accessible for everyone.
By providing children time to create, choreograph and collaborate, the children drive their own learning and final product. Thanks for visiting us in the Wheatbelt!

The Make A Move performance last night was a culmination of a fantastic programme here at Majella school for all our students – they LOVE IT! Not to mention the great feedback from parents and staff. To know that the output was the creation and effort of the children themselves adds to its benefit for students. Then to top it all off – we had the adults in the audience up and dancing in the isles – literally! Well done – the children are still on a high today and they will take treasured memories from the programme.

Make a Move was a fabulous addition to our Arts Program this year! Students thoroughly enjoyed creating and learning how to choregraph their own dance routine. Students were taught all aspects of the Dance Curriculum and Meagan was an absolute ball of energy and enthusiasm!! Meagan’s passion and professionalism were outstanding and we can’t wait to have her back next year!
