Check out what our schools, parents and students have to say about our program

Thank you so much to Meagan at Make A Move for such an engaging and enjoyable dance program at our school. We loved the links to the curriculum, the opportunity for students to have a voice and assist with the choreography, in addition to the supportive and engaging way that Meagan brings the best out of the students.

The organisation was incredible, with the dance concert running so smoothly, with wonderful positive feedback received from parents and families.

The Make A Move sessions were the highlight of our children's week in Term Two. The team at Make A Move are experts at engaging children in dance and making dance accessible for everyone.

By providing children time to create, choreograph and collaborate, the children drive their own learning and final product. Thanks for visiting us in the Wheatbelt!

I really love the professional and positive way that Meagan conducts her lessons. It is wonderful that the students get to create their own dance routines as part of the whole class performance.  Our students love Make A Move!  Thank you again!

Make a Move let our students create their own dances, we saw students that would normally disengage really get involved!

Meagan was fantastic and all the students can wait to have her back!

"The children of Orana engaged in the Make a Move Performance Program for the first time in 2019. The joy witnessed during the dance lessons and especially the night of the performance was heart warming to see. The engagement, learning, creativity and problem solving skills that the children demonstrated were exceptional. Make a Move is a true reflection of children learning life skills through play and movement. Meagan Baronas, the lead teacher of Make a Move, shares her passion and dedication with the students and this flows into their involvement in the programme."

“The Make A Move performance last night was a culmination of a fantastic programme here at Majella school for all our students – they LOVE IT! Not to mention the great feedback from parents and staff. To know that the output was the creation and effort of the children themselves adds to its benefit for students. Then to top it all off – we had the adults in the audience up and dancing in the isles – literally! Well done – the children are still on a high today and they will take treasured memories from the programme."

"Make A Move are an amazing company to work with. Meagan and her team are flexible and fun with both the students and the school, even when we had to re-jig lessons to cater for other events outside our control. The students loved the agency and collaboration they were afforded with the various dances. Meagan tied them all together beautifully to create a wonderful end of year showcase event for the school community. We are very excited to work with Make A Move again in 2021."

"It is with great pleasure that we highly recommend ‘Make A Move’ Performance Program to other schools! From our initial meeting to the culminating, end of year concert performance, Meagan listened carefully to our needs, offered great ideas, and worked expertly with students from K-6, to produce a series of very entertaining dance performances that students helped to create themselves! As a result, student engagement and ownership was high from start to finish, and staff and families very much enjoyed the culminating performance. A very positive experience and we look forward to working with Make a Move again!”

I love that the children get to help choose their own dance moves, they take a lot of pride in their dances.

We love that the outfits are always something easy to pull together from our own cupboards and then off course we love seeing their happy smiling faces when they do their performances, even with Covid this year it was sensational to watch at home with the videos!

Mine were all giddy when they saw Mrs Baronas drive into Orana at the start of term 1, she truly is a gem!
